Brilliant colors and heavy brush strokes reminders of Paul Gauguin and the Mexican Muralists are glimpses into the artist’s persona. Picasso’s early works also influenced the artist’s Ideas and techniques that are not barrowed. vision and spirituality has been nternatized by the artist from her education in Art History and Art Methods education at UC Berkeley., MA in Multicultural Cross cultural education and exposure to world wide galleries, world religions and culture.

It is her own originality, creativity and embeded multicultural global influences that unite the human race into a commonality of human survival.All this and culture of poverty and violence, has had the most influence in her work.

“I am Your Mother”, allows the interactionist to preceive and understand that war and violence is a condradiction of life . One that a mother fully understands after giving birth…being a mother till death. Here the artist unites the Virgin de Guadalupe .a religous Icon in the Western Hemisphere ,as one that embraces indiginas roots with Christ values. There is a human heart in her hand and a plumerganted. Symbols of life and love in the indigenous cultures of America.
“I am Your Mother……I have always been here for you.” Has been the preluded to her global message of Peace.
