Foolish Love, foolish heart.

Do you need me? do you care? can you see me now I’m not there?
Did you love me at the start or was it just my foolish heart, I was hoping that you felt the same.

But all I got from you was pain, pain pain,
I tried to make you love me, I really played your game, now it is over, it always ends the same sad way,
Its such a shame, but then my darling you know how to play the game, you had me trying to make you want me again, but then all my efforts have ended in vain.

So many tears have been cried over you, why oh why did you have to be so cruel?
Now all I can do is travel down memory lane, remembering how we made sweet sweet love in the Spring rain.God knows I loved you then and yes I still feel the same.

But all you ever gave me baby, is pain pain pain,
I really don’t know how I kept myself from going insane, tossing and turning all night long dreaming dreams of you,

I wear my memories like a chain, each thought is linked to you, I’m wishing you could love me as I still love you.

I gave you all that I could give, but all I got from you was pain pain pain, you’ve broken my heart, it just won’t mend, I can’t help myself, I’ will love you to the very end.

Foolish love, foolish heart.

Foolish Love, foolish heart.
