A Family

Joann was a nurse who worked in a nursing home. She was always kind to everyone. Whenever someone needed help at her job, she would always volunteer to help her co-workers. When she needed their help, no one would help her. Joann was a caring person to everyone, with a kind spirit. When she approach her patients at work they felt her spirit and love, they all loved her. Joann could always make her patients smile and feel good about themselves.
There were patients that would not speak, because they were sad, lonely, and withdrawn from others, but when they saw Joann they were different. She could make them speak and smile, they should feel comfortable around her, and get attached to her. Joann always made time for her patients. Joann’s supervisor called her in the office one day to speak to her about how much attention she was giving to her patients. Her supervisor told her that she is not allow to get close to the patients, because they can get attach to her. She told her supervisor she could not stop being that way, because of the type of person that she is, and that she love her work. She also told her as long as it is not interferring with her daily duties, she didn’t see what the problem was. Joann job wasn’t paying that much, but it paid the bills. She had a 13 year old daughter and a 14 year old son at home to take care of. After she paid her bills, she bought what they needed for school, and she barely had enough for food. Joann made do with what she had. Joann had to get up at 5:00 in the morning to be at work at 7:00 am. She had to ride the bus to the subway, riding the train to get to work.
She taught her kids how to take care of themselves, getting up in the morning, getting ready for school, and eating breakfast. When joann got home from work dinner was cooked, and the house were always the way it suppose to be. Her kids knew that their mom was tired whenever she came home from work. Joann told her kids how proud she was of them. Later that evening joann and her kids sat down to eat dinner, and they discuss their day.
