SWEET DESIRE

Ordinarily a man of rage and hate
Someone who used women..didn’t want a mate
Strangely enough one day while walking
He heard a sweet voice talking
She was beautiful and became his SWEET DESIRE
Dissipating from his heart was the rage and fire
Her voice was as sweet as the sweetest honey
Laughing so gently it was really funny
How could he a man people so detest
In a moment find such happiness
He turned without hesitation
And gave his presentation
My dear, he said, with a bright smile
Can we sit on a park bench and talk a while
She looked straight into his blue eyes
And saw love she had never realized
She said for a moment it will be okay
And each found the other on that day
He turned into a gentle man
Holding her close as he can
She found true love at long last
Forgetting about men of the past
They eventually married and are doing fine
Sipping glasses of red wine
As they caressed and kissed
He realized all the years he missed
SWEET DESIRE
