MOTHER & DAUGHTER IN THE PARK

Mother And Daughter went to the park everyday
The little girl loved to go where she could play
Mother and Daughter always dressed
In nothing better than their Sunday best
She loved this little girl with all her heart
Hoping that she and the child would never grow apart
They sat quietly and Mom looked at this little girl
Realizing nothing was more important in the world
The little girl played on the swings
She looked like an angel without wings
While waiting for Tom, the Ice Cream Man
They smiled at each other, holding hands
She knew her daughter would want a cone
And she would eat a Pop as they sat alone
She had tears in her eyes as she pictured the day
When the little girl would grow up and move away
