The Lost Victims

I don’t understand why
Our families left us out here to die
We are The Lost Victims

We huddle together in the park
Until way after dark
We are The Lost Victims

We walk the street
Looking for food to eat
We are The Lost Victims

Our bones show through our skin
Because of how cruel our life has been
We are The Lost Victims

Sometimes a kind soul comes by
And gives us food to try
We are The Lost Victims

We don’t know what we did bad
That made our families so mad
We are The Lost Victims

We loved you unconditionally
Only wanted your love you see
We are The Lost Victims

Why did you take us home
If you would leave us to roam
We are The Lost Victims

Now I am going to take a nap
But I really miss your lap
We are The Lost Victims
