Jillian's Choice

Jillian walked down the street
Her breasts full and hips wide
Looking for someone to greet
Protecting the gift she had inside

Proudly walking by the crowded shops
Stopping by each window
Looking for maternity tops
She had that certain glow

Her hair softly moved with the breeze
And she could only smile
Her body heavy from her waist to her knees
And she had to stop for a while

Jillian loved the child she carried within
Her life had been a lonely one
Friends told her what she did was a sin
But what she did was for love not for fun

This child would change her life
Her sadness and loneliness would end
She did not have to be anyone’s wife
She would not only have a child but a friend

When she heard her child’s first cry
The sound of that tiny voice
And then his little sigh
Jillian knew she made the right choice
