An Old Lady

An old lady can dance
Wearing bell bottom pants
With a floppy hat on her head
While the feral cats are fed

She wears lipstick on her cheeks
And thinks other people are freaks
She wears two different shoes
And never suffers from the blues

The years passed so quick
But she is still so slick
She remembers her name
And thinks most people are lame

There’s a swing in her step
And she still has pep
She’s happy feeding feral cats
And collecting big floppy hats

Her good friends are dead
So she dyed her hair red
She wants to live long
And sing her final song

Artist's Description

A really old lady should be allowed to do anything she wants….she has certainly
earned it…..and one day I might wear big floppy hats and feed feral cats…….but
I still have plenty of time before I do that….
