THE MODEL

They called her “Tawny”
Tall, lanky and soft as a rose
With petals that peeled
Each time she posed
She was the model
Who turned cameras to gold
One snap of her
Gorgeous and bold
The artist was overwhelmed
As she took off her clothes
Peeling them slowly
Like the petals of a rose
She’d pose anywhere
That would they would ask
She loved when it was sunny
And in the sun she would bask
She’d pose at the beach
Quite avant garde
Loved taking off her clothes
It wasn’t very hard
She posed at a cemetery
For all to see
Men turned in their graves
As leaves fell from the trees
She posed in a restaurant
After dark
She posed in the forest
With the song of a lark
She posed in the morning
And in the afternoon
She posed in the evening
And under the moon
