FRAGMENTS

woven in my heart
are fragments of you
little pieces you left behind
of the things we used to do
i can still remember
your lips tasting like wine
how you looked at me
your eyes staring into mine
i try to piece you together
but the fragments fall apart
i stand questioning
why you broke my heart
your hands touching my face
your lips on my neck
fragments of the past
i will never forget
your scent follows me
and i picture your face
fragments of you
i will never be able to erase
i will always remember
when December fell into May
you turned around
and walked away
