A SILHOUETTE

fine lines are drawn
a silhouette
one of a woman
you will not forget
with long flowing hair
and firm full breasts
at loss for words
she’s not dressed
lying on a mattress
completely disrobed
a hand on her breast
holding one single rose
your pencil
starts to shake
are you dreaming
or are you awake
in ectasy
you look at your creation
slowly rising
you open the curtains
light shines across
the silhouette
you realize you’re an artist
and you will never forget
