Mirror Mirror On The Wall

mirror mirror on the wall
tell me the truth
i love you most of all
am i still as beautiful
as i used to be
are you a magic mirror
or do i really see
the girl at seventeen
with upswept hair
dancing around
without a care
am i still that person
once loved by all
tell me please
mirror mirror on the wall

i want to see
because i miss
the sun-bleached hair
and the pursed lips
the body tight
and oh so firm
will i ever see
that girl again
i still wear flowers
in my hair
and dance around
without a care
but my looks are changing
much to my dismay
mirror mirror
make my day

mirror mirror
i close my eyes
when i open them
i realize
i may not be the beauty
i used to be
but i must admit
i like what i see
i might not be
as young as i like
but i still can run
and ride my bike
my eyes still glitter
my body’s not bad
mirror mirror
i’m not at all sad
