THE BUCKLANDS

Joshua was the Dad of this family
Priscilla was the Mom as you can see
Three little daughters in a row
The oldest was named Cloe
Then there was Madge and Tilly
There in the back is Great Aunt Millie
Standing with Uncle Ben
He wasn’t only a brother but a good friend
This family was very tight
Ate dinner together every night
Mom stood home with the girls in the day
And Dad went out to do accounting in an excellent way
They had a little home on the edge of town
Had friends that lived all around
Family and friends would just come to the door
And come in as the girls played on the floor
Cloe helped to care for Tilly the little one
They together also seemed to have fun
Then there was Madge, she loved to read
These children were never in need
There was so much love that they felt
Just looking at them their Mom and Dad’s hearts would melt
Such good people posing for this photograph
After it was taken they all had a laugh
Couldn’t believe the children would be still for so long
Mom sat down at the pianola and played a song
