CONFORMITY

The word conformity
Has never been in my vocabularay
I don’t conform
I think it’s wrong
Becoming a cog in a machine
I would scream
Was a hippie when I was young
Had a cause while having fun
Nothing formal in my life
I’m not even that type of wife
A religion with formality
Would never be right for me
Silver robes and golden chalices
Not feeding the poor represents malice
When I worked nine to five
Didn’t feel like I was alive
Same job day after day
Don’t know how I lived that way
Never eat dinner at the same time
Eat when I feel like and for me that’s fine
Don’t go to sleep like normal folk
Stay up and write poetry and that’s no joke
Have birds that fly around the house
Even found a pesky mouse
Didn’t set traps didn’t want him to die
Put him in a jar and had to sigh
As he ran up the street and back again
I think he came back in my little friend
Love Red Bubble and I can see
All you Artists & Writers are similar to me
