Artist's Description

I’ve been looking for acorns
Don’t think they’re in season
Why else can’t I find them
No other reason
I’m hiding behind this bush you see
In case the dog comes out
Her name is Sophie
I don’t want her to chase me
I’m really tired
Someone should tell them
That dog is really wired
My friend…Morty…hides all he finds
Hoarding them until it gets cold
He’s so foolish
They’ll be stale and old
I’ll eat what I find for night now
In the winter I’ll steal nuts
From all the other squirrels somehow
I think he has a camera
I heard a click
Better grab that nut
And get out of here quick
He’ll probably post my picture
For Sophie to see
So she’ll know who I am
And chase after me
