Artist's Description

How the Raven Stole the Trees
by Sarah
Raven Stories by Children

There once lived a raven. One day the raven saw two Indians. He decided to turn into one also.
When he went to meet them, they decided to invite him for dinner. After they let him the camp,he saw the beautiful trees. They told him they were cedar trees.
One day when they went out fishing, the raven decided to take forest of trees. So he rolled up the forest and tried to flay. It was a long trip, because every time he flew mile, he had to land and rest, but he finally got home.
He showed the people what he got and they loved it. They built big cedar houses with the trees. They also made a big fire with the left over wood, to celebrate.

Taken from my deck in Estes Park, Colorado.
