Artist's Description

Convex mirror at a rail crossing to help bus drivers has suffered a bit at the hands of vandals, with dents caused by stones or rocks. One of these makes the rail track looks as if it has been twisted by an earthquake (or is that a ‘yin-yang’ symbol?) – this is what is first grabbed my attention. It was only after I took the photograph that I realised that another had created a hole in a tower of mammon – which houses the offices of one of the major banks.

Camera: Canon Powershot SX30 IS with 35X zoom lens, focal length 4.3 – 150.5mm (24mm – 180mm 35mm film equivalent).
