Artist's Description

I knew this waterfall was big and had a few tiers, but when I set out for my planned two hour exploration of it I had no idea it would end up having 7 tiers and be 157m high and take me six hours to explore and document (making it most probably the highest waterfall in the Otways). A truly amazing day, this is the rarely seen top tier with it’s cool swirl completely with giant clump of floating river weed/ algae blob in the middle. This first tier goes back a way and all up is 11m high.

A full journal of this trip can be found here .
