Artist's Description

I found this Flame Fungus – Clavaria miniata on the fifth day of my recent seven day traverse of the overland track between Cradle Mountain and Lake St.Clair in Tasmania. The weather was terrible varying between a drizzle and a downpore on most days but on this day the poor weather was a good thing as it was waterfall day and they were in fine form. I found this fungi about 100m from Fergusson Falls.
