Artist's Description

Me and my buddy Chris walked for two days from Mallacoota in Victoria’s far east to get to this spot which is Cape Howe the coastal border between NSW and Victoria in Australia. Smack bang on the border is the shipwreck of the Iron Prince and a rapidly deteriorating border cairn. The area is surrounded by a flat dune field with a sea revealed rocky base. To our surprise there was quite a vigourous little spring nearby which if we realised how bad our water situation would be over the next few days we would of taken more advantage of. With all this at hand it was an obvious spot for an early lunch, while packing this up I finally noticed more of the macro landscape of our spot. ‘Honeycomb’ is a photo of the rock I sat on while eating my lunch.
