Artist's Description

Took this shot on the very exposed, wind, wave and salt blown tip of Tongue Point at Wilsons Promontory. The ability of plants to cling to life in the most marginal and harshest of places never ceases to amaze me. This one is some sort of tea-tree (Dwarf I think any enlightenment appreciated) and this was my second photograph of this particular specimen. The first one I took about three years before this one, loved the shot but unfortunately a whisp of my hair blew in front of the lens just as I pressed the shutter wrecking the shot. Yes tripods are useful in more ways than one.

For more shots from this area check out my Wilsons Promontory gallery.
