Who We Want To Be

Mellow whispers search through the trees,
pondering things so fragile
they break when we try to hold them.

The Earth is taken away
And we fall in to space,
Waiting for the divine lift to the infinite.

Like celestial bodies,
souls breathing the Universe,
we dance around one and other.

All those questions under our skin,
waiting to be answered by another’s curiosity.

Hearts beating with being and feeling,
becoming something greater than the sum of our parts.

Then we remember where we began,
where we will end –
and who we want to be.
