A Fountain of Youth

I was looking at an album
To bring back memories of long past
You know how momories are
some just never last

As I viewed each page slowly
at some I had to smile
The beehive hair… tons of make-up
…the dress length was a mile

Many memories came back to me
more then just a few
And as I almost closed the book
…I turned the page to you

My heart raced with passion
at the picture I took that day
You were so young and handsome
it took my breath away

Again I saw your sparkling eyes
not a hair was out of place
You stood so straight and tall back then
with a big smile on your face

And if you ever come across
this poem I write… its true…
It’s better to have loved and lost
I always will remember you

I don’t know where you are now
it’s been a long…long time…
Thank you for the memories
as I look through eyes of twenty nine

You are my insperation…
I find when I go back in time to all the good memories It makes me feel like I’ve never lost my youth…I know better…but I still see through young eyes…I tried to express this sensation in a poem..
