A young hearts confession

I was walking by your house
The curtains had been drawn
I saw you through the window
in the early morn

I knew that you saw me
as I was watching you
You saw me in your mirror
there was nothing I could do

I stood there for just awhile
knowing I should depart
If you could have felt my chest
The pounding of my heart

You didn’t close the curtain
or ask me to go away
Instead I saw you smile
and you left me stay

You brushed your hair put make-up on
then left when you were through
I knew that you were watching me
when I was watching you
