A Click of a Mouse

A click of the Mouse;
No one hears in the house.
Light of the screen glowed,
A man in his robe, it showed.
Bleary was his eyes in the wee hour
To fully wake up, he’d need a shower.
His mind hummed with lines and verses,
In his quiet reverie, he rehearses.
Woken in the midst of REM
He knew it was up to him,
To scribe the thoughts on Microsoft WORD™,
Before they took flight as a bird.
Now, complete its lines and verse;
Satisfied he rests, before, on comes the hearse.
