Artist's Description

Standing over 20 feet tall, this amazing street sculpture of a Giraffe and her calf can be found on the pavement of Leith Walk outside the Omni Centre in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The two giraffes were made from scrap metal from motorbikes and cars by the artist, Helen Denerley in 2005.

The scupture is called Dreaming Spires but the giraffes have been nicknamed Martha and Gilbert.
