Artist's Description

The Crown Princess moored down river of the south span of the famous Forth Bridge in South Queensferry, Scotland.

South Queensferry is a popular destination for Cruise Liners and quite a number arrive throughout the summer months. Disembarking passengers are whisked away by coach to enjoy the attractions of the surrounding area although a good number are happy to stay and enjoy the delights of South Queensferry.

The Forth Bridge took 7 years to build and was completed in 1890.

The Forth Bridge is an Historic Scotland Category A listed structure. HB Number 40370.
