Station Road Park (Rose Garden) in South Queensferry, Scotland on Christmas Eve 2009. In Spring and Summer it is a haven of quiet, a lovely place to sit among a profusion of glorious flowers, but now, snow carpets the ground and Jack Frost nips at your fingers and toes.
Snow (other than the short lived inch or so) has become increasingly rare at this latitude in Scotland over the last 20 years, so it is nice to see a decent fall of snow, even if it does cause chaos to our transport systems.
