The old Drinking Fountain (Prince of Wales Fountain) on the Promenade at Portobello, an eastern suburb of Edinburgh, Scotland.
The fountain was built about 1860 (some doubt about the actual date, may be 1870) but was closed in the 1950’s due to vandalism.
Shot taken on a cold day in March 2013. During the Summer months, this lovely beach can get very busy.
The Prince of Wales Fountain is an Historic Scotland Category B Listed Structure (Ref:27529).
