This shot was made in one of my first few months in Saint Paul and I was amazed by the relationships between city life and light, and trees in this environment. Sunset light beyond and street light pouring down from overhead.

I could get longwinded, but I wanted to say that at times I feel at the whim of imagery—as if it is stuck somewhere in the back of my head and certain things and scenes provoke a response of needing to capture it, like I think I have seen or felt or thought that image before. I try to work toward it and understand it, but sometimes I just fire away until I have had enough fun. This shot was one taken after stopping to shoot some other things and when I turned around to leave, I noticed this scene unfolding. Just to say THANKS back to you for your great comments was not enough, obviously. Thanks, Len. —Tim
