This is an historical photo, B&W 35mm taken by me in 1950. The scene is The Jam Factory, Garden Street on the left hand side looking toward Chapel Street South Yarra, Victoria, Australia. The men are having a “smoko” at the entrance , I was employed at the factory as an Electrical Apprentice.
The Jam Factory or the AJC has now been converted into an upmarket shopping centre retaining the name of “The Jam Factory”
