This piece is a collaboration between AlienVisitor and myself

It was produced for the Alien Worlds/Landscape Challenge, which was to create a realistic sky to complement aspects of the land mass. The land mass and water are by AlienVisitor, the moderator. The moon was shot by me one morning. The fog is sky clouds with the opacity reduced. All with a lot of Photoshop thrown in.

AV Challenge was the winner of the challenge, and was the Avatar for the Alien Worlds/Landscape Group until January 2009.

AV Challenge was also featured by this group Aug. 2008, as well as the group, Shoot the Moon.

I would love to awaken to this view each morning. I don’t remember ever seeing anything as beautiful. Great work and I wish you well in the competition. I don’t see how you could not come in the very 1st place. I would love to place this on my wall.
