my time is waiting

I keep thinking about my time here
what it means
what will I do next
what there is to do
out of what there is in a day
if your life is paycheck to paycheck
routine after routine
The time just ticks
If you look at the clock
you become still
ask yourself what it is you feel
I’m just here
I do nothing with my time
I feel tired
I may as well sleep
I’d be acomplishing the same if I stay awake
but time will fly
our time is wasted
unless you touch someone
in some way
you do nothing
real time is time you touch somebody
the time that counts
I myself..wait to meet you
to touch you
in the meantime
I wait
I try to pass time
I drink too much
I smoke too much
I sleep too much
I look out the window
I try to watch t.v, but my mind can’t stand it!
Then I write…I write for you
maybe I can touch you
maybe this time I spend writting my thoughts down
you’ll share it with me…and I would touch home
I wish you were in front of me
I want to see your face
touch your hand
and embrace this time
Why are we seperated
you there and me here
I hope the phone rings
and the voice on the other end
will touch me
this time would be well spent
I’ve never met a stranger

my time is waiting
