Artist's Description

Poster with Japanese enso symbol in black on yellowed background. Enso means circle and the symbol is a circular brushstroke very common in Japanese calligraphy. It represents the state of mind at the moment of creation and symbolizes absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe, and the void. Comparable to the Taoist sign of yin and yang.

The composition includes Japanese characters, Pinyin (Chinese phonetic transcription), English, Spanish, German and French translations of symbol.
