Joe Mortelliti Gallery – Rowsley valley, near Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia. Recent moves to cover the ridge lines of this valley in wind farm turbines have the local community up in arms. This Bracks government plan seems ill conceived for this area. July 2004.

I don’t know what has happened with this plan, whether the wind farms went ahead or not. Given the inefficiency of wind farms in achieving a real power generation improvement it would seem a pity to compromise the beauty of this area with wind farms.
