(Finepix F70EXR, minor crop, f/5.5, f=34.2mm, exposure 1/40s, minor crop with The GIMP)Just waiting for a train’s arrival at a NW London station… on a foggy morning in December, before sunrise (brr!) – even the train only has one eye open!

Thanks for accepting it :-)
very serene !…i like it !
Thank you, visit, feedback and compliment much appreciated – it was serene to the point of sleepy, in my case :-) I’m never fully awake at that time of the morning in winter, I miss the sunshine and have huge trouble getting out of bed. Fog makes it a bit more interesting, but also colder, so sometimes I have to keep myself awake by taking pictures :-) Have a happy new year!
Very good photo!
Thank you, I seem to do OK in a hurry :-)
Shot really conveys that early morning half-awake feeling, love the one-eye-open train! Andrew
Thank you, much appreciated – I’m always glad when my photos convey some of what I was feeling at the time I took them. As for the train, I was not too keen to open both eyes either – you’ve seen what the view was like :-)
Beautiful image. Really gives you the feeling of a cold December morning.
I’m getting cold just looking at it :-) Thanks for visiting and for the feedback, I’m glad you liked it :-)
Very lovely; love the fogginess in the distance!
Thank you – it still gives me the shivers of cold when i look at it (especially with the cold wind from the North that we’re having right now!)
Many thanks, much appreciated :-)
