Artist's Description

“The Timberline Lodge” in Oregon was used for the cult movie “The Shining” by Stanley Kubrick in 1980 (based on Steven King’s novel).
In the movie, the Overlook Hotel is located in Sidewinder, Colorado.

The interiors of the Overlook in The Shining are based heavily on the “Ahwahnee Hotel” at Yosemite. It has been noticed that from scene to scene the layout of the Overlook changes. There are several impossible shots in the film.

A design for everyone into Kubrick, King or Cult movies in general.
(The background pattern is similar to the carpet Danny is playing on in the hallway.)
