Artist's Description

Loch Etive is not so famous as its bear neighbour, Glen Coe, but it epitomises the Scottish Highlands for me, with its grandeur, wildness and majesty.
It was raining heavily whilst we were there and the eagle-eyed amongst you may be able to spot the near-vertical streaks all over this image from the falling rain!
Talking of eagles(!), Glen Etive is a very good place to spot them but, on this occasion, it was so wet they had all decided to hide! That said the burns and rivers were dramatic and the mists playing on the mountain sides made up for the problems of an itinerant photographer!
Another mono conversion too, so here is the scene of the glen and the head of the loch from near the end of the road.
Thank you for looking.
