Wall Art

Artist's Description

This is where I have the most fun. Pretty crowded, but is my slice of heaven. You can see some attempt at organization in the right corner where my paints are stored in drawers. Three of the drawers have papers in them. Ideas. Reference materials. Partially completed artworks.

Of course there is the requisite fitness equipment. A recumbent bike that doubles as a stereo holder. Current cds inside include: Metallica Black Album, The Essential Stevie Ray Vaugn, 100 Classics including The Blue Danube (my favorite classical) some James Brown, some Children of the Bong, some Country classics, Shcroedingers Cat, Smashmouth, Harry Connick Jr. and several others.

At this time, there are several paintings leaning against the walls. Plants everywhere, painting shorts, smocks, etc.

My favorite rolly cart/tv stand. TV, closet full of different papers culled from a press when I worked there part time. Of course several grounds. Not one of them canvas. My hope is to buy a roll of prepared canvas to do a really large work. inspired by Mr Connicks St Louis Boogie.

With the exception of the paints and the cds and stereo and papers, most things came from the dumpster! Reduce, reuse, recycle. Right!

Included is my favorite chair. One of those kinds where you are actually sitting on your knees. LOVE it!

Beautiful view. Sliding glass doors onto theBalcony. Lots of western sun, and NO wind! HOT!

And last but not least, FISHING equipment and golf clubs. What self-respecting studio does not have something unrelating to art?!
