My eldest son was just three months old when I used to take his hand in mine, him propped up on my hip, and I would trace his finger around the numbers one to ten on a poster on the wall. I continued from there, teaching him little bits every day. He was so easy to teach, and still is, as he was so keen to learn new things.
He is now ten years old, and has had the top maths mark in his class the past five years.
Education, and learning, are so so important. And it’s easier for both parent and child along the way, if the child starts at a very young age with simple things done on a daily basis.
