Marmot. scarlet paintbrush, wild lupine – taken in early September, 2012
And then after you smell them, you might want to nibble on one or two. This little marmot, surrounded by wild lupine and scarlet paintbrush flowers, didn’t pay a lot of attention to me. He was too busy nibbling on the flowers.
