In 1977 I bought a Minolta SRT201 35mm camera with a 50mm lens. I loved it. That started me in photography.

The simple life

As I walked along the path at the river of time I noticed a family having dinner. The Dad was cooking the meat on the open fire and the kids, two pre-teens were sitting at the table. The Mom was sitting on the grass away from the family feeding the baby. I didn’t even realize what she was doing till I took this photo and looked up and saw the look on the Fathers face… But then he noded and I return the gesture as I walked away looking for my next shot.
The whole scene made me realize how complicated life has become.
