Artist's Description

PLEASE VIEW LARGE!

The shot was taken this April when I was sitting motionless in wait for frogs to capture.
The beetle was carrying a huge earthworm ten times longer than him and much heavier of course, so he could go on very slowly.
When he noticed the danger which was me, suddenly took a bite out of the earthworm and quickly disappeared in the undergrowth.
It was such great experience for me to se this scene so closely, but it was much more interesting that while the beetle was busy with the earthworm an ant jumped up on his head and kept on biting it !
It was really funny as the ant was smaller than the head of the beetle.

I have put on two more pictures to the story.
