I've felt the love of Angels

I felt the love of Jesus,
When he was on the cross,
He died for us so bravely,
‘Cos inside he was not cross.

The love he felt, It was so pure,
It raised him from his plight,
In accepting his destiny,
He didn’t have to fight.

The angels came and held him,
And eased his troubled brow,
And he felt the love of Angels,
So the pain he didn’t know.

I’ve felt the love of Angels,
It was a love so pure.
I felt it wrap my body,
From my head down to the floor.

It raised me up so high,
And carried me through the air.
But it was a love so pure,
That it was too much to bare.

So I came back down to earth,
And opened up my eyes.
We all will see that place, again,
when everybody dies.

I've felt the love of Angels

Artist's Description

A poem that came to me about a real experience for me or a dream where I flew with the angels, not long after that I had my breakdown. This is why I think I am bi-polar but I am not to give myself labels.
A poem that came to me after reading andyspc2 poem called almost like a prayer.
I think there was more but I was lying in bed and did not have a note book for the first time in years.
