Artist's Description

An M1A3 Copperhead holds off the first of several dozen Shenyian tanks as they try to cross a small bridge approaching a nearby hydro electric dam. The tank is from 1st platoon, Charlie Company, 103rd Armored Regiment, 4th Combined Arms Strike Force, and was assigned to protect the dam. The 501st Tank Legion from the Shenyian armored forces made the advance on this area under the cover of a heavy rain storm, but was mostly stopped dead due to the unexpectedly high ISA resistance. This skirmish was part of a combined effort by the Shenyians to cease control of the ISAs infrastructure. Called “Operation Blackout” by the Shenyians, the offensive was front wide and there were several break-throughs initially, followed be several other which allowed the Shenyians to make advances such as this. The Shenyian Empire committed several thousand tanks and armored vehicles to the campaign, as atleast 1500 were destroyed or damaged in the fighting, while the rest fled when ISA Aircraft began to assert control over the airspace. The Shenyians were however able to capture several ISA power and water facilities, and would hold them until the Shield of Perseus was finally brought online, and the Shenyians retreated from ISA soil.
