A winter sunset reflected in the Millennium Glasshouse and Lake at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Gardens, Wisley, Surrey, UK. After a grey and unpromising day, the sun peeked out just as the gardens were closing and treated us to this magnificent display. Worth the wait.
Believe it or not, the view has not been altered in this image. I selected ‘shade’ for the white balance in Adobe camera raw then gave the image some extra ‘pop’ using the Topaz Simplify filter. You can’t see it in small size here but the filter has created a rather fun (well, I think so anyway) stained glass effect in the branches of the trees.
