Darkness

The sun goes down, sinks into the night.
My energy rises like an un-natural dawn.
Insistent hunger plagues me; makes me yearn, makes me weep.
This driving force anticipating my next target.
The hunt is on.
Traveling along the road, that’s filled with many sounds.
The sounds of sex, the sounds of love, the sounds of fun, the sounds of innocence.
They do not know what walks among them; cause they have never as of yet experienced evil.
The hand of dark fate guides me to the one that my hunger needs.
Such purity, such beautiful light shines out; it almost makes me regret that I have to extinguish it.
But I need it; my hunger won’t let me forget that I need it.
So I entice, I mesmerize and I dazzle; and soon I am leading the lamb to the cave.
We escape the night and enter into purgatory.
Like a ravenous wolf I pounce, tormenting my victim and feeding my hunger.
The screams that fill my house are like a balm to my black soul.
For now; for this night; I am sated.
Until the next time.
