Artist's Description

This car was named after one of the owners, Angelo Lucenti, a plumbing contractor from Pittsburg, PA. In 1934, driven by Rookie Herb Andinger, the car averaged a qualifying speed of 111.722mph securing a spot in the middle of the fifth row. It finished 10th in the Indy 500, w2here it ran an average speed of 95.9 mph $1,425.00.
It also was used to showcase pearl paint, a first for the era.
