Share Your Photos For Aid

Here is a joint collection of photographs we took on our travels which we are selling with 100% of the proceeds going to VTT (Volunteer Teacher Thailand).
VTT is an independent volunteer organization working in the Phang-nga province of Thailand. The area was dramatically affected by the tsunami which hit on Boxing Day 2004.
TVC (Tsunami Volunteer Centre) was set up in response. People from all over the world volunteered to rebuild the community and bring back the smiles on peoples faces. Although the construction work has finished the education continues. There is still a lot to do to rebuild the confidence in the locals, especially in the young and future generations.
VTT, headed by Ken Hyde, teaches English to both children, in schools and orphanages, and adults in community classes. These education projects were initially operating under TVC but since its closure in 2008, Ken has been exceptionally dedicated in establishing VTT as an independent organization. He regularly receives new requests for lessons from schools in the area, but is struggling to find the funds and volunteers to say yes.
We are starting this fundraising project, Share Your Photos For Aid (SYPA) to help keep VTT alive and operating. We both have been volunteers (and can’t wait to go back) through TVC and VTT. We would like people to become involved in the development of VTT by supporting our project. We are inviting people to make a donation to VTT. In return you will receive a card with a photograph which we took during our travels. We would like as many people as possible to become involved in this; something which we both are so passionate about. We have seen first hand what a fantastic and worthwhile job VTT does and it would be amazing if you could help it to continue.
Here are a few examples of what your donations can do:

1 card will buy pens and pencils supplies for a month,
2 cards will buy paper supplies to print lessons for a month
3 cards will buy fuel to drive volunteer teachers to the lessons for a month

If you would like to make a larger donation, offer your teaching skills or just find out more, please visit the website www.volunteerteacherthailand.org

Thanks for looking!
