I am very excited to have my art selected for the special Earth Day celebration theme to exhibit in SoJie 10. SoJie 10 takes its name from the Solo Exhibition group’s Juried Invitational Exhibition. This month is only the 10th one, ever, and 100 other artists, besides myself, are represented.

Winners of the invitational will be announced on April 27th, when a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded in three categories: digital art, photography, and traditional art.

*It's a small World*

Hi this is my 1st Journal entry, thought it was about time I shared my thoughts with my Redbubble friends.
In reality I have been a painter for the past 16 years and although I love painting more than anything, I felt I wanted to try something new. I have never been any good at painting people or animals into my paintings (I dare you to find so much as a field mouse. :) and stuck to landscape painting, which I poured my passion into.
So I stepped away from my Easel and picked up my camera. I never thought too much about photography before, but what a world it has opened up for me.
I started by taking a few general shots, none of which I was happy with and I felt I was missing something, the painter in me wouldn’t let go.
